Esports Integrity Coalition (ESIC) announced that Nikhil “forsaken” Kumawat will be banned from Counter Strike: Global Offensive tournaments for 5 years for aim hacks found on his computer. The recent event which got him removed from OpTic India wasn’t the only account of him cheating. Aim hacks were found to be on forsaken’s PC at another LAN event ESL India Premiership which, where OpTic India took first place. OpTic India’s win for this even has been nullified but ESIC hasn’t announced what they’ll be doing about the recent discovery.
Forsaken also released an apology and acknowledged that his Pro CS:GO career is over in an Interview with AFK Gaming. “I have betrayed the trust of people who believed in me. I have dragged the name of the country in the dirt and I know it’s unforgivable. There is no one else to blame but me. No one else should have to take the hate and blame for this but me.” Closing statements from forsaken.
