Niantic Settled Class Action Lawsuit Over Pokemon GO Fest

Pokemon GO Fest ended last July, but the controversy has lived on in the form of an ongoing lawsuit. The class action suit was finally brought to a close, stemming from the disastrous event at Grant Park in Chicago last year. Niantic put $1.5 million dollars into a fund for people who attended to claim expenses. Any claim over $107 will require receipts to verify. Any money left over will be donated to charity.
