In response to Google’s Project Stream, Microsoft announced its new video game streaming service Project xCloud. Using the Microsoft Azure Data Centers as a backbone the goal of this project is to bring console quality gaming to PC, Smart Phones and Consoles. Public Trials should start in 2019.
