The first DOTA 2 minor of the year, Captains Draft 4.0, was held over the past weekend in Washington DC. With a $300,000 prize pool and the chance to start the year off on a good note, Team Secret fought through a sluggish start to the event. They eventually defeated Vici Gaming in the finals at 3-2 to secure $108,000 as well as 300 pro circuit points. The win furthers Team Secret’s lead in the race to The International 2018.
