Telltale Game Developer may have Broke the law with Layoffs

Former employees of the popular gaming studio Tell Tale Games have started a Class Action Lawsuit stating that the studio violated Labor Laws with the layoffs last Friday. TellTale Games let go of of 250 employees leaving a skeleton crew to the end of the year to liquidate the rest of the company by 2019. TellTale Games did not inform their employees of the closure or lay off with the 60 day notice like they are required to by California law. These actions also violate the WARN Act that protect employees from employers when layoff occur.
