Twitch Streamer Phantoml0rd Sues the Platform

Following his involvement in a virtual currency gambling scandal, James ‘Phantoml0rd’ Varga was banned from Twitch in 2016. He is now bringing a lawsuit against the platform, claiming damages and breach of contract in regards to his Twitch Partnership. Specifically, he claims he was not given proper notification and time to correct the behavior as per the terms of service. However, it fails to mention that he was banned five days after Twitch clarified its rules, specifically saying that anyone who violated Valve’s rules would be in breach of the terms of service.
