As always, Nintendo is very tight-lipped until the official announcement. Nintendo’s Switch online service was originally going to be with the system launch, but it got pushed back to 2018. Originally, it would have cost $20 dollars for a year, but those prices may now be inaccurate. Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima recognized in an interview that they realize how important the online capability of the Switch is, and they are pouring very significant resources into it.
What is your opinion? What does Nintendo need to do for the Switch’s online service to be a success? What would be worth it to you?
